I thought that my twitching and slightly athetoid movements were due to my medication (Tardive Dyskinesia), but I've stopped it after 2.5 years, and I've still got these movements.

I pick my nose but only when I'm alone as other people think its digusting and unhygenic (usually in that order). Sometimes I go too far and it bleeds but then I know to cut back for a while. I hate the way muscous feels in my nose but dried blood is much worse and stinks of iron.
Been there done that too. And I also hate the smell of blood.

Next time you're bored ( watching tv etc) instead of using your teeth get an emery board and take proper care.

I do. I have to keep them filed or snags will drive me crazy. I actually have nice nails, when there's not scabs around the edges from picking. But nail biting (unless you bite them very short, which I can't stand) doesn't provide the same feel as chewing/ pulling/ picking skin.

Keeping your lips moist helps stop that.

Yes, but only very temporarily. Even lipstick doesn't last long on me, I've learned to only wear light shades so it's not so obvious when it's damaged/ missing.

You know you're doing damage but you don't care, that's the wierd part. Sure it hurts some, but you don't care. And if your lip starts bleeding, you can just suck on it until it stops and probably no one will even notice.
