Common. Most people don't like ambient music, but I find it helps me zone in. Especially the desert-ambient stuff Roach has made.

Music actually has nothing to do with my stim level.
One day I can be listening to music and be sitting completely still.
Another day I could be listening to the exact same piece of music and not be able to stop stimming.

It varies widely.
