Does it ever sound like you're making up excuses

Where I grew up, if you couldn't talk your way out of something, you had to lie your way out of something. I've never liked the idea of lying so I guess over the years I've learned how to be that way.

Everyone deals with their surroundings differently. I just got pissed at everyone for being so dishonest and decided to tell everyone the bold truth weather it made their skin crawl or not. Of course who can say which is better?

And for the record I find you only SOMEWHAT repulsive

Before I was diagnosed with AS I was constantly accused by my parents and teachers of making up excuses and being lazy, so I'm very touchy if I am accused of that, it can easily trigger a meltdown if people are not being understanding.

I was constantly accused of making excuses as a kid. But they were true, and valid reasons! Maybe because I didn't argue my case in a charming, friendly way like the other kids, the teachers didn't like me. I hate, to this day, being accused of making excuses.

I guess at times it probably has sounded like I was making up excuses.

I guess it sounds sometimes like i am making up excuses but i think its like that for everyone sometimes.

Do you feel like you make sense?

I think that sometimes it's okay to explain why you did something wrong not as an excuse but to ease others about what led to it happening.
