Thank you, again, everyone who have voted/ replied so far. I've been eagerly looking forward to the results all day these last days.

AspE the flashface thing was really interesting. I think I could get my face pretty well. The thing is all the noses looked the same, didn't spot difference between most of the facelines, and some eyes almost looked like duplicates unless I told myself 'OK these are bigger than those ,these have bigger irises etc', but I still managed to choose the right ones with relative ease.

Then when I came to compare it with my own face, I still had to refer to the mirror!? Whatever does that mean?

I don't think I'm face blind because I can recognise familiar faces.

PLZ more NT's vote also, but more ppl on the spectrum will be sincerely appreciated also. Thank you.

There's a control on the left that allows scaling of each feature, it helps expand the options...

Not really no... I can never really picture anyones face clearly not even my own. It's more like I "feel" it, I don't see a persons face when I think of them.
I have no problem recognizing people that I've seen, but if I try to picture their face I can't. I don't really even pay close attention to peoples faces, I recognized them better by their presence than their facial features... It's rather hard to explain now that I think about it...-_-;;

I cannot picture my own face- it has been driving me mad. I actually did a Google search about it and this forum came up. I'm Asperger's. I can only see the spot on my forehead, the spot on my nose and the spot on my chin- that is it. I don't think any research has been done on this- I'm studying to be a Psych. researcher so I'm interested to see what's out there and to see if I should do a study on this in the future.

I can't picture anyone else's face either- not even parents or housemates. It's weird that I can form an image of my car, my teddy bear and my breakfast today but not the people who have always been in my life.

I can mostly remember the way my face looks in a mirror and in pictures I've seen of it, but trying to imagine it in other contexts is more difficult.

So for the most part, I remember what my face looks like.

Just as "well" as I can picture the face of anyone I know well enough.

I have prosopagnosia so I don't remember faces - in my imagination everyone face is a generic, gray field with attached pictures of details I remembered such as distinguishable hairstyle, haircolor, eye color, face shape(round, oval etc), nose shape, wrinkles, beauty spots, glasses etc. My own face remembering ability isn't any better than my remembering of the face of anyone I see daily and pay enough attention to.

I could draw it but I miss the placement and perspective. Face itself gets too big, eyes, nose and mouth too small and to close to each other, hair too short or too long etc.

yes, I'm not vain but I have to see my face when brushing teeth and shaving and it is very distinctive, slit eyes, big lips so I have a very vivid self image.

i forget how i look most of the time, looking in a mirror can sometimes be a shock because i dont recognize myself.

i can't picture my own face unless i remember a picture i have seen of myself.

this is something i had never thought about until a few years ago. i know it's me when i look in the mirror, and i've seen pictures of me, but to think about what my face actually looks like as a face, lol, well, i realize i actually look like a person. that sounds so crazy but it's true.

When I picture myself I often have an image of a younger, slimmer and more optimistic version.
