More often than not, I remember such things. However, sometimes I'll forget something and then when the person mentions it again, it's like, "How the heck did I forget that?"

I can remember things only about really close friends, not that I've had many throughout my life. I've had three close girlfriends and two men I've been romantically involved with and I can recall just about everything about them. The one thing I can't remember about many people, including immediate family members, are birthdays or significant dates connected to them. Dates just don't stick in my brain so I'll probably be the one who forgets my wedding anniversery after I get married.

I don't have any friends, so I don't have any details to remember.

I was in love with a woman once, and I remembered a ton of random details about her. Heh, she didn't mind sharing, and I didn't mind learning about her.

Neant, I'm pretty sure you've got lots of friends here.

And rpm2004, I'm pretty sure you'll get friends here soon :)
