Ah, I've been goody all my life...it's weird on this whole mess...I'm 39 for God's sake! Never drank while in high school or college, never did ANY type of drugs, never skipped class, never smoked, never went out of my house without telling my parents where I was going, even at 21...and was 99% home by 12M...oh, geez, I could go on and on...Same job for 18+ years...never stolen anything...nothing...

And now this??? Mine was not because of a lack of respect for authority...actually, there was no cop around...there was only a stupid security guard (who when we call them to tell them that there are 8 year olds riding motorcyles in front of our house, they say they can't do anything...when we've called them to tell them that teenagers are jumping into people's front yards and putting liquor there, they say they can't do anything...when people are speeding and have loud stereos at all times of the night, they say they can't do anything...) so, believe me, the last thing I thought was that this guy was any type of authority...and of course, I never yelled at him or was angry at him...I only was very vocal about the electric company where we live and the thieves they are...but not accusing the security guard or anything...

So, anyway, sorry...I keep going on and on...but I can't believe that after being so good all my life they will ruin my record and drive me to the verge of a major meltdown because of this...

Thank you Sea Bright, I'm sorry Whatamess.

Anybody else had trouble with disability awards ?

My (free)legal aid ( Me no income just left over inheritence) lawyer yelled at me last week because I was asking questions related to the case,

"You're asking hypothetical questions! If you want me to research it you'll have to pay me!"

All I wanted to know is how much money could I earn without losing Disability. And if it was measured weekly , monthly or yearly. ( This was in case I ever sell any of my art .)

Didn't he understand what disability he was representing me for?

TrueDave...makes you want to be your own lawyer...hmmm...

With all the information available on the internet/bookstores in the US, you might be able to find it and not pay the guy.

Actually, my dream always was to be a lawyer...for these same reasons...now I'm 39, but geez, I'm sure understanding that I should've done that a long time ago...oh well.

I have this problem all the time. I cannot let some things just go. And I often "step over the line".

I use to also get in trouble for things like body language and gestures that I would do not understanding the social significance of them.

I try to not use any facial gestures except to smile. But even smiling can get you into trouble if done at the wrong time to the wrong person.

Best Regards,
