I don't think I've ever had a nightmare.

Once, I enjoyed every single one that didn't mimic reality.

Now, I still enjoy them (I'm a fan of "normal" fear after all); ones that involve [subjective] fears are those I don't like (me harming people who don't deserve it).

some off-the-wall dreams were when I was on prescription painkillers. I mean weird, like this girl from that movie where she crawled out of the well, this sick howling girl was in my closet and her eyes were bloodshot red - nice bared fangs for teeth. Some I owe credit too while reading the Dark Tower Series.

I often have a certain detachment to my dreams. Either they are just moving pictures or I'm not really myself. They are very ambiguous, but I don't realize they don't make sense till I wake up.

I did have a a bad period, that I posted about, were I was having a lot of dreams that were putting myself down. It was only after waking up that it clicked. Otherwise I would of wanted to wake up sooner. Thankfully this has passed.

That sounded more like the Grudge to me.

anyway, we're lucky that people can't claim royalties on the use of copyrighted figures in dreams. :D

My most frightening nightmares were as a child where I dreamed that I was being attacked and couldn't scream or run and was being chased down. Another one was where I was stuck in the Disneyland from hell and I couldn't wake up; I tried to wake up but the characters were after me. In the last few years I've always either had zombie stories where I'm either hiding out in a house with them breaking in or another really fun one where I was running to catch a bus with them chasing me.

I'm fascinated by my most frightening dreams. I have a complex dream world that keeps evolving with each dream attached to each other. I can imagine the world in my head and know exactly where a certain dream has taken place. The most scary of my dreams often build the world the most and bring in depth.

Horror in general fascinates me.
