I have, what every vet has termed, "the ultimate cool jazz cat," with some variation in words. I am calmer and more relaxed than anyone I know. I always thought that had to do with my ability to focus so intensely, and forget about everything that normally worries most people. Then again, I do get absurdly anxious (but not impatient) when with people. The only times I can remember being really impatient are when someone cannot understand something I think is rather obvious, or if they are speaking/writing to me and I cannot understand them (poor grammar and the like really, really bothers me).

So, patience has nothing to do with Asperger's, according to this elaborate and comprehensive study of a forum thread. :P

Guess I am your worse nightmare then ;) Sound like me, except I am towards the spelling people.

I was actually going to mention spelling, but it would have made the sentence clumsy

Why would you be my worst nightmare?

If you find it, let me know so I can go get some as well...

A quote my lawyer has outside his office says (it's in spanish, so I'm translating)...

I have little tolerance for mediocre people and NONE for cowards...

That about sums up my view...

i confess i get very impatient during conversation. maybe it's because i hated school so much, but i just can't sit there and listen to someone ramble on for god knows how long. in my head i'm like SHUT UP AND GET TO THE POINT!

I don't know if it has to do with Asperger's or something else, but patience is definitely not my virtue. I find myself leaving uncompleted projects midway and constantly snapping at people because I'm so impatient. Maybe the latter has more to do with intolerance and not impatience per se, and I need to work on that.

Eh, if only you could buy such things...
