Uncyclopedia is an equal-opportunity offender, though...

Uncyc is less offensive than ED, but both of them (especially ED) are wastes of webspace. I ignore both of them - although with ED there is a bit of a personal issue which I won't elaborate on. It has been calmed as of late.

Oh come on, it's a joke; you're not supposed to take it seriously.
I could bet that the people who wrote those articles were aspies.

Uncyclopedia's users have a great sense of humor with a nice sarcastic/jerky/cocky character.

I should join them.

ED and Uncyclopedia are hilarious.

If you can't laugh at yourself, well... I just don't know.

But it's not me, Beau - that's the point. And it's not most Aspies in my opinion as well.

Reyaria, there's a difference between a harmless joke and a harmful one. These two play off one stereotype and tar all of us with the same brush. I don't think that's funny at all - that is in fact downright dangerous in my book.

I found the AS article quite hilarious.

Especially the one where they describe a room full of aspies... LOL

But the way they describe AS in many parts is much more accurate than in wikipedia. Even if it is satirical.

If you look at the uncyclopedia article on autism, it's quite entertaining.

I also enjoyed the article on "ASS-burger SIN-drome"

I hated it, but that's just my opinion :(

Apparently some of these posters did not look deeply enough into Encyclopedia Dramatica's article about autism.

They single out individuals for personal attacks and ridiculed them posting photos of hardcore pornography(yes, I mean this exactly as it is written). There is a group (Aspies For Freedom) that is very upset over Encyclopedia Dramatica and is try to get that website kicked off the air.

ED is SUPPOSED to offend people.

That's the thing.

If you're not offended by something on there, ED isn't doing it's job.

I love ED, and would do anything I could to save it if it were in trouble of being removed.

I use Uncyclopedia all the time, ED is just plain creepy. Uncyclopedia tends to be a little more "serious" and has more policies and such to prevent vanity pages, bad articles, etc.

If you use Uncyclopedia, you can stick this on your userpage:
Template: Asperger's Syndrome
