Wee! I only wear skirts, EVER. I own like two pairs of pants and I will only ever wear them under my skirts. All my skirts are knee-length or longer (yes, I AM a hippie). Your response comforts me to no end.

Yay!! Me too!! Skirts RULE!! I only have one knee-length one, that's my shortest skirt. IMO the longer the better, my favorites are the swishy ankle-length linen skirts. I don't like skirts/dresses with slits much, either...skirts with a slit on each side are EVIL!! The just kinds flop and are so uncomfortable. They are practical though, I have one for working outside. Front slits are annoying, too...I have one jumper with a front slit, but only because I adore the jumper. Back slits are tolerable, but only just.

Most of the guys I know prefer skirts, but also most of the guys I know are trying not to think sexually about girls at this point in time.

Err... commonly known as callottes?

Shorter is always nicer, but there is a double standard here: If a woman looks like, ahem, an "elephant," it's probably best that she leave the contours of her body to the imagination.

Wonderfully worded, I couldn't have said it better myself. No, wait. Then again, I could have; but I wasn't up for the challenge. Thanks for using the word "elephant", rather than "overweight".

That is real smooth actually. Good technique, rolling you're eyes round so as not just blatantly look up her skirt directly. I often use the looking around my surroundings technique to perv at burds. Much less conspicuous.

If only I were 2 feet tall.

No, you don't seem to get it. most guys have to look down to see if they can see up a girls skirt. Looking down is also involved in the rolling eyes movement.

I never have to look down, most girls here dumb enough to wear skirts always wear short ones and don't know how to handle themselves properly without showing upskirt every five minutes. I'm so desensitized. :?

I prefer pants. I guess I like it when girls can just wear what's comfortable and not worry too much about looking "pretty". But of course, I don't really care that much.

i know several men who prefer longer skirts - in fact, more covered-up-ness generally, as they say it leaves more to the imagination. but then, they are older (as in 30s/40s).

i tend to wear leggings/trousers most of the time, and either very short skirts or very long ones, and either skin tight or very baggy and flowing - i don't do medium, in the vast majority of things.

and i want to vote - how else can i see who voted what? :(

Vivi, there should be a link that you can click to view the vote result, under the poll...

anyways, i voted skirts/dresses (i'm a bi female) i prefer skirts/dresses on girls in general because i like girly girls... :P but i don't really care, the clothes should fit the personality and person who is wearing them... so skirts, pants, i don't really care, but if you're gonna squeeze an asnwer i'll say skirt.

i also like to wear skirts myself but pants are so much more practical that i usually wear pants.

Let me get this straight Vivi...

You are a mod with a post count of 3474, and you STILL don't know about clicking 'view results' to see the results of a poll? *giggles*

I really have no preference either skirts or pants...It's up to the girl as far as I'm concerned...

Now myself...that's a different matter entirely.

I voted for skirts (all lengths), but short skirts I don't think look good. Jean skirts look pretty bad, whichever length. Knee-length skirts, or thereabouts, of cotton or non-starchy fabric looks good on girls.

:o Denim skirts rock my socks! I generally live in jeans and skirts: I got sick of not finding any shorts I liked! For ages it was just pants though, and shorts. Pants I think are more practical in many ways, but skirts feel so pretty and feminine! I went through absolutely LOVING short box skirts *drools*, but I ABSOLUTELY love full flowy skirts, and given that gypsy peasant skirts are coming in, I'm a happy kitty! I have a gorgeous aubergine winter skirt that sits possibly a bit above the knee: it's a full skirt though, so when I twirl around I look like a ballerina! :D And I love my big long denim skirt... ok, enough of Annelise's fashion schpiel!
