I have anxiety and a seizure disorder, fortunately under control with medication. I have been fortunate not to have any breakthrough seizures while on medication.

I was originally diagnosed as hyperactive, but that didn't really fit me. I had a lot of energy, but I always channeled into useful pursuits.

Sounds like me, except my new doc never nulled the original dxes. lol oops

I got dxed with atypical ocd, atypical adhd and general anxiety disorder, before being dxed with asperger's syndrome. As I understand it, those are the big three usually associated with Asperger's syndrome.

I have GAD, a Gen Seizure Disorder, self dx asperger's and am depressed because of personal issues right now.

If you go take one of the online aspie quizzes (i know i know they aren't really reliable) they cross Dx for ADHD, Paranoid Schitz, Bipolar, OCD, GAD, and depression

I personally think If you go to 6 different docs and they each Dx you for a different one of those, or multiples, then welcome to WP, you have Asperger's.

I thought i was OCD at first, but I don't get the visions of people getting hurt. I get a little paranoid at times, but I don't beleive that martians (or the gov) are controlling my mind. And I only get ADD when I forget my seizure meds (actually a documented side-effect).

Well, I was first diagnosed with OCD. Now, the "experts" that I see say OCD is induced by Asperger's itself due to the stress that trying to survive/adapt to a society that one cannot understand and/or adapt to without aid.

If there's a propensity for anxiety/mood disorders, the stress of the latter above will bring them out; they say it's the main way adults with the disorder are picked up.

It's kinda silly to list all of my psychiatric disorders separately as I've experienced all of the anxiety disorders at one time, and they all affected me at the time (clinical depression too); my ASD explains it all (it's autistic disorder officially).
