I used to have battles between army men and spacemen...;) that's about it. If I messed up a toy, it was gone, the parental units wouldn't spring for a replacement.

I used to have abuse scenarios wtihthe barbie dolls, but I had never thought of it as being an aspie thing...The neighbors who I played with and I would mix all diferent types of dolls together....Barbie....Fake Barbie....We had a Cher Doll who was the evil step mother because she was kinda grotesquely ugly..it seemed at the time.....
There were the glamour gals who were like miniature barbies...

I know I was very hard on my dolls that i played with and they got broken up real easily.

Indeed. There's always been somekind of violance in my play, but I wouldn't say it went as far as abuse. :o My toy soliders stuck to the Geneva Convention.....sometimes... :pirat:

I demonstrated a similar thing when I was younger, I used to put Barbie in the car and crash it into the wall and walk away, I never actually played with them (according to my Mother), the strange thing is I was very possessive and wouldn't let anyone else touch them.

I remember I broke my Barbie car because I kept pushing it down the steps into the sunroom when I was 10. It was a new game I came up with after my little brother accidentally kicked it and it went across the floor and into the sunroom and I was like "cool" and started doing it and was so fixated on that new game I just invented.
I can remember my parents saying something about it but I don't remember what.

Toy story topic

I remember I had a huge collection of Barbie clothes and I would abuse that poor doll by changing her clothes so much she must have been dizzy.
:compress:
In my own life I do not change my clothes that often. 8O

99 percent sure I have asperger's (my kid was diagnosed and I see myself in him all the time.)

I was a collector. I would organize and display my dolls, stamps, coins, stickers. PLEASE DON'T TOUCH THEM, i will hold them while you look! They were meticulously kept, some still in the boxes. My step dad build me a shelf going all the way around my room to display them.

I would play with barbies some in the tub, but they mostly swam, and then i would worry that they would mold. Once one of their heads popped off and I freaked out.

Then I got a Nintendo, and I was a Mario Freak with a doll, stamp, sticker, coin collection.

(which I have since given my collections away, the doll one not until last year (I am 28.))

I would always play drama-filled games about war and strife... though I don't buy that it's an 'Aspie thing' either. It makes us all seem so violent, hehe.

I remember that when I was 5, my two cousins, both about my age visited us and one of them wanted to play with my doll. I got hysteria attack then - NOBODY could touch my toys :D  I was a collector too. I collected everything I could - pieces of flint, pictures added to Donald Duck chewing gum I inherited from my another cousin (one could get that gum only in Pewex shops in that time), pictures of women I used to look for in my mother's magazines, fake money of various countries that were added to Ninja Turtles chewing gum, stickers, bird feathers, stamps :)

I once melted The Penguin's stomach on a lightbulb. My parents got me a weaker lightbulb in my room after that...

Also, when I was young at the beach, I would fight the ocean by dodging the waves and throwing sand at them.
