I never really talked to my parents about sexuality. But im surprised yall had to read books just to find out what an vagina was? Didn't yall have Sex-Ed in the 6th grade? Well maybe yall didn't back in the day for yall that's older. But I had it growing up.
Well, I learned about it before I was like five. I was 11 by the time I was in the 6th grade. I even learned about the clitoris before I was like 10. BTW even some places in the US don't want to teach about sex in schools. They somehow think it will be perverted and trigger desires. HECK, the strongest trigger I had in school was a girl dancing in spanish class. I SWEAR, it seemed like I could see EVERY curve! They didn't talk about sex, and SHE never said a word, but I was like pavlov's dog, and she was like a dinner bell!
KOR,
HECK, I STILL remember the teachers keeping boys and girls in separate lines going out the door, and the girls were obviously VERY different from the boys. Back then, it was even more obvious than now. I can't imagine being treated so differently, etc... and not understanding HOW there was a difference more than clothes or even skin deep. And how do you go through puberty seeing half the class change in ways different from the other half, without wondering?
