I am always always cold, I wear a lot of layers a lot of the time. That said I can't take extreme heat either.

I am insensitive to cold - I can happily walk around outside with just a t-shirt on and shorts/trousers without it bothering me, even at this time of year when the temperature can be around zero. I am always getting comments from people about not wearing coats or jackets, asking if I am mad or OK or warm blooded.

I can't stand the heat though - and work in summer is horrible as it can reach 36degC+ where I am

I can be rather insensitive to the cold. Although I think it's more of a willpower thing then anything to do with AS. It's not uncommon for me to run outside in the middle of winter to get my newspaper or take out/bring in the trash while wearing a teeshirt, shorts, and sandals in the middle of winter with snow on the ground.

I'm kind of strange in that I don't feel cold when the air temperature is low (even freezing and below) but can't stand cold surfaces or liquids on my skin.

Huh, weird. I'm actually rather insensitive to cold. People are always telling me "ZOMG ITS DECEMBER WHYTF ARENT YOU WEARING A JACKET" -- which annoys the f**k out of me because why should the month determine attire, instead of how cold I [don't] feel?

Oh wait, on the other hand, when I'm indoors, it's a totally different story for some reason. I need it to be nice and warm, oftentimes warmer than is comfortable for other people.

I'm pretty much the same way. Although the need for it to be nice and warm comes and goes for some reason.

I prefer it to be between 60F and 70F degrees. I prefer the cold to heat. I really don't like to be hot. Especially humid heat.

In case you're wondering, Yes, I hate living in Florida.
