Chalk, chalk boards, sand is rough.

SAND! Oh gosh, sand is terrible....Also chalk, but I have so many problems with sand.

Also jeans and most other non-cotton fabrics, though luckily I can handle tags now (I used to cut them off clothes as a child). Also sticky things, paint, etc.

Dry rough fabrics.

If I am using a teatowel to dry the dishes, or am using a towel after I have had a bath, I have to wet my hands first so it sticks & doesn't slide.

One time in Yoga we had to do a "self-massage" rubbing our hands over our legs & I was wearing the "wrong" kind of trousers so I couldn't do it, I had to pull my sleeves right down down over my hands first!!

Everyone must have thought I was really weird!! !

Clothes.

not like I want to be a naturist or anything - but clothes are one of the most awkward, cumbersome things i can think of. There isn't really an option not to wear them, people might look at me more funny than they already do :P

Haha, right on.

I don't really like to touch things with a slimy mucous texture, like raw eggs.

I can touch everything. Love impulses...

But touching any of these makes me gag:

1. Brushes
2. Sticky stuff
3. Moist
4. Foods I find eww
5. Certain types of skins of other people
6. Certain textiles

I have a really hard time touching paper, wood, and cardboard. I'll touch it if I have to, but I tend to avoid it. I can't write on paper with a pencil.

Don't know specifically what I don't like touching until I touch it ;)

I know rough paper's a big one...certain fabrics...anything dirty or dusty...

I worked more than six months at a place that prints, folds, and sends out tens of thousands of pieces of mail a day...every time I touched a stack of paper or a dirty tray/sleeve, I'd freak out afterwards and wipe my hands off all over my clothes :x I'm surprised nobody said anything to me.

I think the thing that bothers me the most is the sound and feeling of using sandpaper :x :x :x I can't be anywhere near it, I run away and plug my ears.

Ugh, I'm freaking out just thinking about it.

Actually I've never touched it, but I imagine it's something you'd want to keep your hands off of, you never know what germs you might get.

Yes, I'm a germophobe in that sense, easy guess.

And you call yourself a Mummy afficianado. :shameonyou:

When I was a kid the freshly cut hairs from a haircut down my back would drive me nuts. The only other thing that comes to mind is mud. Wet mud or sand does not bother me. But when it dries on my fingernails it bugs the s**t out of me!
