is ti actually real humans spamming that,or is it spam bots,cause if its bots it'd be useless pming them back with a reply of where to go.
they've been loads of posts about different ones on here lately,it makes am glad am rubbish with private messagign and avoid it mostly.

You mean the 419 scam? I get this crap all the time in my mailbox. I simply delete it.

Not only should complaint be submitted here but one should aslo go to yahoo abuse. If the yahoo email is shut down, all spams listing that email will be for nothing. I no longer get the Niderian 49 spam because I have been doing this. These scumbag have to pay an hourly rate to be able to use the net cafes to send out the spam.

How it work is the nigerians get a software running in internet cafe. It scrub listing of popular e-mail address and load it on some Yahoo e-mail address. They are limited to certain number before it have bigger allowance.

This is why US shouldn't support countries like Nigeria.... because where are we getting in return? Sure a nice thank you can be good but not enough... There isn't enough graditutity in those country. Corrupt countries = bad economy. On top of that, US citizens getting scam every day, this is bad for economy.

To fix that, need a better defense like encrypted e-mail technology. Craigslist and other company are using the technology already and I say it work more secure than handing out @yahoo.com on public forum.

I believe that e-mail address + sub account encryption and filter would be the best defense for internet users. Heck... I like to get one of those service and get freedom from spam once for all.

Well enough rant, this email was in reply to my freelance computer service ads. Oh my god! I have to put up reading it.

Don't forget that if you wander in Yahoo chat rooms, you about to get hit by SEE MY CAM spam link that the bot keep sending. Not cool.

That's an example of the 419 scam. I like to purposely respond and keep the scammers busy by wasting their time.
