I do this to my boy cat when he's being whiny. It makes him mad and he gets even whinier, which only makes him more fun to imitate.

Let's see, I also make this popping sound with my lips, and also this kind of high speed chip munk non-vocal mouth noise (fwth fwth fwth fwth fwth fwth). I'm not always aware I'm doing it until I get some very interested looks from people

I also growl when frustrated and hum when preoccupied, or just bored.

Yes I am quite vocal, I went to a park a while ago and im still making peacock noises.
I repeat noises a lot, mostly muttering but if I really like them then I can get quite loud and excitable.

At school, one of my friends told me that I used to go "T.....T.....T" all the time, i.e. my tongue was bursting small bubbles of saliva on the roof of my mouth. I was completely unaware that I was doing it.

I've no idea if I still do it or not.

I do that too. I'm pretty good at it :D
I do videogame noises too, usually when I turn the volume down first.

I was just made aware last night that I make a sound whenever my favourite medical drama comes on TV. The sound is like a..."OOOWAAAAAAA".

I'm not sure if this counts as a weird sound, but when I was aged about 3-10 I often made a sound with my nose. I can't remember what it was but apparently everyone around me used to get frustrated with me when I did it and apparently I didn't know that I was doing it. 8O

Peacocks are the second most fun birds to imitate. Turkey imitations are irresistable when they're around. I'm very good at both.

I hadn't really thought about it before, but while reading what's above, I realised I have a wide range of odd noises for various situations.

There's hello-meow, question-meow, I'm-super-happy-meow and are-you-ok?-meow. 'I've run out of things to say' is purr. Horse means I'm distracted, seagull means I'm patiently waiting, frog means I'm impatiently waiting, quiet high-pitched eeeeee means I'm trying to concentrate and not succeeding, deep-growl means I can't find something I'm looking for.

Only the meows are specifically animal imitations, the rest just seemed like the right way to express myself.

I'm now not sure if anyone else understands these - I've never knew I did it to this extent or told anyone what they mean.

An aside - I can greatly annoy my cat by exactly copying her - the meows get progressively bitchier, then she snaps at me and trots off :D

I always seem to emit a low humming noise for some reason, but that's about all.

When I was little I used to howl and shreek before I could talk. When I was a little older I used to always make a loud popping noise with my tongue (still do this sometimes).....here we go...pop, pop, pop....

I make little moaning noises when I eat. When I'm tired, in pain or mad I completely stop speaking and kinda just grunt.
