How so?

Ahh, I can perfectly understand the concept of using your intelligence to make others feel stupid. I used to do it in middle school, and would feel so triumphant when I made 100% on my tests while everyone else made 60% or even 40%!

Whenever someone called me ret*d, I would, figuratively, rub my high test scores in their faces so they could see just how wrong they were! Ha! And the lower scores they got than me, the better. Later, if these people asked me for help and answers, I would deny their requests. That's what they get for being big meanies! Now how does it feel?

I'm not like that anymore, though. Nobody is mean to me anymore, so I feel no more need for revenge.

No, what's the point? I might get consistently good grades in class, but I lack many skills that everyone else in the class has. If I made fun of my classmates for being less intelligent than me (which I don't believe they are, anyway) they could make fun of me for having poor social skills. And who would blame them?

I have a few good friends in all of my classes, so making them feel stupid would only make them resent me. I've had enough of being resented, thank you.

Make them feel stupid? No, I never enjoyed that, or did that.
Prove to be one of the best students in the class? I loved it.

Well, mind you, I didn't indiscriminately try to make all my classmates feel dumb, only the ones who looked at me down their noses.

That's understandable, than.

No I never liked doing that. I have been made to feel stupid before and it didn't feel good. If I got picked on I just picked on the other person back so they left me alone mostly.

No I don't really care, dumb people are rare actually somehow, never really met anyone extra dumb or someone extra smart, most people are normal intelligence, also - probably if they're picking on you they're feeling dumb themselves so they try to find anything to think of it as dumber than them to make themselves feel smarter or something so don't bother much

When I was in college I enjoyed making the teachers look stupid, which wasn't that hard to do since most of them didn't seem to have a clue. For example, during just one single lecture I counted no less than FIVE major errors made by the lecturer (ex. he believed that the term casus belli meant "just war" - no, it actually means "reason for going to war", and his statement that the U.S. Civil War began in 1865 and ended in 1871 was just... well, how stupid can a teacher be to not know when it actually took place?).

i was quite slow in comparison to other students, not because i was stupid but because I didn't listen or pay attention to anything in class, i was too busy drawing spider webs or sponge bob or Sonic. This was a good year in school because i took Psychology class which Interests me to death, i didn't get very high marks because i wasn't doing any paper work but i was so engaged in class that my teacher gave me a journal to write in so i would stop talking and derailing the lesson.

I don't think I ever cared about making them feel stupid.

I saw their view of me as someone inferior to them. But I didn't really care about harming them in particular. I mostly took that frustration out on inanimate objects, rather than people.

Besides, I don't think I could ever have succeded in making them feel stupid. For one thing, my grades in a lot of classes are sh***y, and for another thing, I would never be so brave as to actually speak up in class and say something without being asked. The bit about my being stupider than them is, I think, a little true.

I could never outsmart my classmates if I tried, as they were much smarter than me and just patronized me the whole time.

But I suppose NTs can bully Aspies and still be called empathetic, but if an Aspie gets back at their bullies, we "lack empathy".

The most irksome double standard ever.

It was my classmates who had an incredibly fun time making *me* feel stupid, along with some of my teachers.
All I can say is that those days are behind me now.

People may behave dumb or say something dumb but that doesn't mean they lack intelligence, you never know since you're not living in their heads, the average human has intelligence and isn't dumb, even animals have some intelligence. I'm starting to imagine- if most people are actually dumb then how did humans survive this long and develop this much and how are they able to perform so many things, even 'stupid' people are good in at least one thing and are able perform things.

I remember in 7th grade, we were having science class and it was a game day.
That buzzer game and you had to hit the buzzer before anyone else did, had ten seconds to answer the trivia in the form of 'What is a... ----'.

Well, no one wanted to pair up with me. So I sat by myself and had my very own buzzer thing, everyone else in groups of four.

And I enjoyed it very, very much.
Those kids didn't know what was coming.
I got every single question I buzzed for correct, and I was able to take over 3/4ths of the trivia questions that day.
The very last question was 'What is another name for an elephant?' and I knew this because I had practically absorbed animal planet at this point in my life.. what is a pachyderm was the answer. And everyone else just sort of looked really confused/angry when I said the answer, because who would know that? We weren't even in that level of science, we weren't studying animals. We were studying earth. Not individual animals.. Plus, a single kid getting all these questions right..

I felt really proud for that day, I won by a landslide. Didn't change anything, if it did.. kids probably avoided me more haha.
