Argh... I don't remember watching cartoons in the 80s though I'm sure I did.

I had Voltron toys so I assume I watched that and I also had plenty of those old light green Transformers. (Robots in disguise.) And Heman, too.

The b***h of it was I got this awesome Voltron toy for Christmas and it looked all detailed and totally expensive with working metal parts, but I wasn't allowed to touch it because the week before, just after my parents had bought it for me, the lead poisoning thing came out on the news and my parents discovered that my new toy had been painted with lead paint. What a crappy Christmas. :?

there was another one called 'mask' that was pretty good..the ninja turtles, ducktales, transformers, he-man, and shazam were all pretty good too..i also enjoyed the arcade based ones that aired in the early 80's like 'saturday supercade' and 'pacman'..also, i admit i watched muppet babies too from time to time

Danger Mouse!

My role models growing up were Spock (the universe's greatest science officer) and Penfold (the world's worst secret agent's assistant). The damage caused by watching too much TV... :P

I was addicted to Voltron, my sisters thought it was a boys cartoon, though.
I also liked He-man and its spin-off She-ra.

Oh... I never missed an episode of Voltron or Danger Mouse, but my real love was The Real Ghostbusters.

Ghostbusters!

My most hated 80s cartoon would be Captain Planet. Even back then I recognized it as ultra politically correct BS propaganda.
