oh goodness.....
here is where if i wanted to, i could reveal more disturbing details about my childhood...

Ideally, I would get dropped off with my grandparents

I had quite a few male babysitters....I remember where I was expecting a female babysitter, but I got a male babysitter and had a complete screaming meltdown for hours and hours....

Truth be stranger than fiction but one of my babysitters was this insane alcoholic Elsalvadorian refugee that my parents took in. He was very young I guess..I remember him freaking out and my mom having to hide all the knives in the dryer on his 21st birthday..if my memory serves me correctly....he would have psychotic episodes or go out and get himself stabbed...and come back and lay down on the couch and get blood all over it and then leave...so we's just find the blood-stained sheet on the couch...one time when he was babysitting me, he took me for a ride on my dad's broken moped and I fell off in the parkinglot of a laundrymat and really smashed up my face...He was a really really really weird person...
