Great, so my post got deleted.

Well thanks a f***ing bunch. It took me over an hour to write that.

It really makes me wonder what this place is really about. I write a thread about probably the most important positive thing I've experienced in my AS life and it gets deleted simply because it could be seen as contraversial.

I actually found something that removed my entire social retardation for a whole night, but of course I'm not allowed to share that with you all, despite it being potentialy the most important thing in the treatment of AS.

Wow well thanks. Great. Shows how much you really care about the community.
It really makes me laugh how you can be foolish enough to throw away a solution simply based on morals.

Here's a hint. Stop being so f***ing narrow minded. If you don't fancy taking my advice thats perfectly fine, make whatever decisions you feel is best for yourself, but to deny others this solution is just f***ing stupid.

Maybe I'll post that thread again if I can be bothered to write it all out again.
In the meantime good luck with all your 'aspie awareness' bollocks and you're 'it's not me! its the azburgers syndromez!! !!' crap.
Or you can be like me and actually try and do something about it, find a solution, make others aware of the solution...

And the end of the day which one do you think will get you further in life?

Uh... from what your saying, you sound like another one of those "well, if you concentrate really, really hard, your Aspergers will magically disappear! Quick bit of info for you; most of us don't want to be neurotypical - most of us despise the idea of "treatment" for Aspergers. You trying to tell me there's something wrong with being myself? Man up and say that outright, ya git.

I'm guessing that whatever it was, it removed your social anxiety; people often confuse social anxiety for social impairment. Anything that loosens inhibitions (which social anxiety is), will allow you to interact how you innately know; you'll still be socially impaired, it's just that you won't care how you act.

Very true. I get into more fights when I'm drunk than not, specifically because I don't have the inhibitions. I say what I think, and it's usually not socially acceptable. It's the anxiety that goes away, not the impairment.
