ok i just took this test and my score was 43

it says that a range of 32-50 is very high and that most people with Asperger's or h.f. autism score about 35.

am I supposed to show this to my therapist? seems kind of an odd thing to do but I will if you think it would be beneficial to bring with me to my next appointment.

A consler should know you have AS and at least know something about it. I had one who kept asking what it was.

Counselors can be pretty funny, one I had asked if I was autistic first session, then took that back and insisted I was OCD with no compulsive component cause of my obcession over subjects, and I knew more wbout bipolar than her. She said autistics can't have conversations at all, I had conversations with my HFA co-worker, who was the one who told me of my traits.

She was nice though.

I'll take the quiz...but I hardly think an internet quiz has many credentials either.

Just to be accurate, it is a copy of a test developed by psychologist Simon Baron-Cohen and his colleagues at Cambridge's Autism Research Centre (copy; MRC-SBC/SJW February 1998. Published: Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders, 31, 5-17 (2001)), not just "an internet quiz."

I know what you mean about bogus internet psychology though, and I would not recommend that kind of rubbish to others - anyway, I hope this helps you; it is legit. :)

Here is another link, clarifying its origin:
