I'm not sure if he has autistic tendencies, but he sounds a lot like some aspies I've met on this site.

He may sound like some *people* you've met on this site. But they're not Aspies. Just your typical sociopath preying on the vulnerable.

Crime factories? How to stop crime? Conspicuously absent from all this is acknowledgment of responsibility for his own actions. I don't think a failure to take responsibility is a specifically autistic trait. Leading a cult also requires a certain intrinsic cynicism and dishonesty which I gather is also not an autistic trait.

Manson could be a terrible mix of the Mad Narcissitic Psychopath, Autistic Genius, Paranoid Schizophrenic, Child Abuse Victim and a Male with too much Testosterone. It could be a very bad mix. He says "I'm everything, Man!" and he could be right.

There are other Austics in the media who have committed a gruesome murder who did so themselves rather than manipulate the minds of others to do their diry work. That doesn't make all of us murderer's or potential murderers. I was also a victim of horrific child abuse, but I'm also one of the most compassionate people anyone could know. Life is strange, and so are people. Who's to say? Anything is possible.

While I haven't seen the said video posted one documentary on killers mention Charles Manson towards the end and they were talking about analyzing his brain and something chilling IMO was said "He has the writing equavailent of a 3rd grader but he could get TWO P.h.D's IF HE WANTED" (If you're going by brain scan I guess or whatever tests they were doing.)

No, sorry. I still don't see the comparison. If anything autism is a smaller box (logical thinking) and neurotypicality is the larger box encompassing all types of thinking including utterly illogical and irrelevant crap.

As previous posters have said already, Manson was charismatic and obviously had the qualities to be a leader. This pretty much puts him on the neurotypical spectrum.
