Thats fantastic, well done. Sometimes its good to be spontaneous.
The best part is, next time you worry about doing something new, you can look back and say "hey, I'm stronger then I think".

PS. is that you in your avatar? If it is I give you credit for posting your face to the net for thousands to see. I certainly wouldn't have done that at your age.

A lot more of me has been seen on the net than my face. 8O And not just by a few individuals on this forum either hahaha.

I saw a movie once called "Defending your life", and your accomplishment made me think of this. The premise of the movie is that in the afterlife you are judged not by your accomplishment, but the fears that you faced and overcame. You overcame a very fear, made a change and faced the unknown, and you are a better man because of it. Congratulations!

Well done. I suppose I've made similar strides, and will do something ever now and then to stretch my boundaries. I definitely recommend playing our own game and going at your own pace. That is the only thing that has work so far. If you focus on trying to play catch up with other people, you will actually go slower.

One thing that I find is some thing continue with a strange novel feeling even after you have doing them, for a while. it is sort of like you are an alien and you are trying to emulate the humans ha ha.

It can be quite frightening to step outside your comfort zone.

But if you start to think rationally and logically, what exactly is it you're afraid of? What can possibly go wrong?

Sometimes it's the fear of the unknown that's more scary than the actual thing.

Sometimes, all it takes is to try something, once or twice, and then it's not so scary after all, in fact sometimes you find that what you had been afraid of is enjoyable.

I know what you mean. I have a group of friends that seem, like myself, to wait around for someone else to call. The problem is that is (well was) our last chance to spend time with each other, so on two separate occasions I decided that I had to be the person to call up everyone and did so. As a result I saw the movie Hancock and the Dark Knight (for the second time).
