Ever feel like you "lost" your aspergers?

As a kid, I was obviously Aspie. I had friends, because I liked to talk to people, but I made a lot of social mistakes all the time. School was problematic.

Now, as I'm older, a lot of the problems I used to have are gone. But I still want a diagnosis, because it still explains a lot of my behavior and feelings and explains to the school why I can be very smart in some areas, and really dumb in others. Also, my mental health is not good at the moment, and when I'm very stressed/upset, my Asperger's gets worse and I am unable to make eye contact and stuff.

So I haven't 'lost my Asperger's' but it's got a lot better, certainly.
