Aspies more likely to cheat in video games?
I don't cheat very often, like everyone else said, it just takes the challenge out of it. Sometimes I cheat in arcade games though (like being able to pop in infinite quarters in an emulator), since they're so freaking hard because they were designed to raise money, not to be beaten..especially if we're playing two-player. It's never fun to get to level ten and then have your partner game over and have to trudge on alone =/
Sometimes I check walkthroughs, too...which I hate because I'll be completely stuck, then I look at the walkthrough and go "OH! DUH!" and kick myself
My friend and I even created our own rules of conduct for the Thief series of games Killing anyone is cheating (even though the third game allows it), for example. Can't remember what else we considered cheating, it's been a while.
Ack, that's always the worst >_< I remember getting nearly to the end of Ultima VIII one time, and then having my save go corrupted...so I had to start all over and I ended up cheating and warping to the very end of the game.
Never heard of a disk swap cheat for it, but I know there's a spot in...um...somewhere near Las Vegas, there was this building where a mayor's wife was held captive, or something like that. You could go on the roof and look through the skylights and see her, and every time you did you got EXP. You can set up a macro to keep walking up to the next window and peeking in...can get yourself uber beefed up (in the PC version, at least)

I used to cheat a lot at games, but I started to feel that it was not very good and ruined the enjoyment so I stoped cheating. Unless I am just doing it for a bit of fun lik GTA.

exactly,if someone finds a game too difficult, why should just give up playing it if there's something out there that can allow them to play.
also, those discs [action replay/gameshark,blaze etc] are not just for cheating, they change the code in a game so things can be different,it's not always about cheating,it can add things, take away things, mess things up etc.

I dislike cheating in video games. If there's something I get worked up over, it's hard video games. But this frustration adds to the want to play and just beat the game.
If I just want see the story of a RPG that is incredibly hard, I cheated before and messed with hit points and all.
I love to pretend to cheat in board or card games and other such games.
I like the act of cheating, but not the outcome. Means, I like how cheating demands preciseness and concentration and jokingly messing with others, but I do not want to use any cheating for the actual playing.
