So nearly everything you have described here is pretty common among the Aspie community at large, Rudin. This is not intended to be overly stereotypical, of course, just observations. Plus, a few of the listed items are on the Aspie quiz.

So...ability to hold my tongue and not say what I am thinking: that would be a nope. I have no control over my facial expressions and they get me in trouble ALL the TIME. I have a lot of sensory sensitivity...A LOT. This makes going out anywhere super hard. When did it become mandatory to have music AND T.V.s and crazy lights in all restaurants and stores? Ye gods.
I do not usually get sarcasm and miss some metaphors and am terrible at "sayings" (colloquialisms?) You know, things like "Blood is thicker than water" What the heck. :? Yes to basic facial expressions, not to anything more. On another forum, someone brought up Disney channel sitcom type shows as good for studying this-the overacting helps me a lot. Clumsy and awkward to a maximum degree, and I still struggle with directions.
