Sociopaths don't care about people but they are extremely charismatic and are able to manipulate people to get what they want.

I am not sure that thinking NT vs AS is such a good idea.

It's a terrible idea because it's putting up walls where none should exist. In response to the OP, even though your stance is undoubtedly "pro-AS," I find your assumption that people with AS cannot lie and cannot "go with the flow" and adapt themselves to society is inaccurate and probably a bit offensive to other people with Asperger's.

Yes, I guess you are right, But, it's fun to turn the tables around sometimes, especially after you get hit with the blunt end of the NT gossip stick. Remember, every time you point a finger at someone, there are 3 more fingers and a thumb pointing back at you.
I'm just having fun with trite expressions today and I'm in a metaphorical mood.

I get the fingers, but the thumb? The thumb points forward, just like the pointer finger! I can't imagine the digital contortions you'd need for your thumb to point backwards in that situation!

The thumb points up to the head. Unless you are pointing your finger like a gun, must be really upset to do that. People usually stick their hand not too far from their chest, point the index finger and scowl when blaming someone for doing something wrong.
Unless, the person is really mad and then he/she would extend the arm way out and point the finger in the person's face.

 Were you being seriously literal or just funny? I'm still laughing...

No, just funny. I have to admit though, that my thumb doesn't point anywhere near my head- it points straight forward. We must point our fingers differently!

I love the title of this thread. You made me smile on a crazy morning.

Then, of course, I remembered all the realities, and that is that NT's have been widely discussed and studied, just not under that title. I wrote a paper in High School about the social clicks of our school, and the behaviors and attitudes that defined each. I interviewed several people from each group, popular jocks and railers alike. This was an assignment we all did.

Go through the book store. The books about Queen Bees, the books about communication ... basically, any self-help or sociology book. They are, essentially, about NT's.

But I still love the soundbite. It's a good one.
