i answered INTP on the poll, before i took the test, since i have gotten that result before.

but then i took the test on this link, and got INTJ.
Strength of preferences was: 56, 12, 12, 11.

so besides introvert, i seem to not be strongly anything.

Looking at the poll it says (currently) as the top two;

INTJ = Introversion + Intuition + Thinking + Judging 38%
INTP = Introversion + Intuition + Thinking + Perceiving 21%

and on the two previous polls combined it was;

INTJ = Introversion + Intuition + Thinking + Judging 55%
INTP = Introversion + Intuition + Thinking + Perceiving 45%

So, we really need to be asking ourselves...

Are MOST aspies INTJ or INTP?

or

Are most INTJ or INTP people Aspies?

We need to find some NTs who are definately NT but score as INTJ or INTP to determine the rule.

I didn't vote in the poll since I'm NT. It's funny that you posted this poll because I was recently thinking of giving this personality test to my son (if i can find a version for children).

I've taken this test before and I'm always: INTJ.

I am the very definition of Introverted, but I do not have AS. I suspect most introverts are not on the spectrum, but most on the spectrum are introverted.

I'm diagnosed NT. I thought I was aspie for a long time, but both the therapist and pyschiatrist I've seen think I'm fairly normal.

I still share a lot of traits, hence my INTJ score, but probably to a lesser degree.

I'm not sure if I have enough traits to really be on the spectrum, but I've always gotten INTP on these tests.

Strength of the preferences: 89, 75, 50, 44

I'm assuming that the strength of the preferences is not the percentage of the traits versus their opposites (sorry, don't know how to word that), for example perceiving being preferred by 44 does not equal 44% perceiving. That would seem to make me a strong INTP personality.

Lene, anyone can be INTJ (not just Aspies/Auties)! This test is designed for anyone. But you might have a proclivity towards us, which might be why you're Wrong Planet inhabitant.
Mostly we're introverts, that's almost expected.

INTJ. I, T, and J were all "very expressed" while the N was "moderately expressed." After reading some of the descriptions, I think I might be more borderline between INTJ and ISTJ than the test indicated because of the way I interpreted some of the questions- such as the one about whether it is "Essential for you to try things with your own hands" which was supposed to gauge the importance of empiricism, emphasis on factual detail, etc to your personality. Such things are important to me, but I just need the facts; I don't necessarily need to be the one collecting them.

Looking at the poll results, it seems most Aspies are solidly Intraverted Thinking. Judging is slightly favored over Perceiving, and Intuition is fairly strongly favored over Sensing. Based on the descriptions given of each, this seems about right. Most Aspies should fall into INTJ, INTP, ISTJ, or ISTP in descending order.
