I can't wait for it to snow. We might get a few flurries this afternoon for the first time this year. I love the snow but I hate the cold temperature.

I like shoveling - great for the vestibular system.
Western Mass gets good snow but global warming has had an effect - more ice storms now, and not good transitions between seasons. I was there when it snowed - but it didn't stick so I didn't count it. I guess some places had enough to stick because I saw it on cars coming from north of where I was.

Liked Hudson Valley when I lived there - lots and lots of snow!

Neuro, are you in Western Mass at the moment, or did you live here at one point?

Sounds like your scientists have never watched an angry little parrot(cockatiel, loverbird, etc) on her eggs.

What about about an angry little parrot on the back of a dog hopping down a snowy slope? Maybe that would be too dangerously funny to observe with the naked eye?

I do like the snow, I just wish the city would actually sand the streets in Country Club Manor. Had a horrible time with my bus slipping yesterday and since the back is primarily for wheelchairs, I have very little weight on those wheels (pretty bad when you shift the transmission and the bus still skids).

It's snowing again. Made for slow driving to cello lessons and back.

It snowed in the Vancouver area, last night. My winter has started! I think I can see snow flakes falling through the window that I'm looking out, but it could be rain.

Here's my snow from this past weekend - we had 1 foot. :D It's all melted now though cause it's been raining for a couple of days. :( Hope we get more soon.

We are getting more snow now and we are supposed to get more tomorrow but I have given up on listening to the weatherman. He is never right.

Wish for snow.

Brisbane (capital of Queensland, in Australia) recently got a ton of hail, so much so it looked like it had snowed... Which is seriously odd...considering it is SUMMER here 8O

You're in Vancouver? I thought I was the only WP member in Vancouver and you were in Ontario or something....
