I have, with one daughter and two grandsons (thus far). I love their wittle faces, and their wiggly wittle toes, coochy-coo ! !! !

I am up to my ears in babies and toddlers... yes I have held, cuddled, kissed, and been eaten alive by babies and toddlers. Sometimes I feel like the opening scene in the 2nd Jurassic Park where the girl is pecked to death by ferocious little dinosaurs.

I was absolutely awful at holding babies until I had one. Suddenly it was easy and wonderful.

I have held babies, however I avoid it. I'm always afraid I will somehow "break" the child. I'm not a cuddler nor do I kiss children, (if it were my own, I'm sure I'd make an exception  ) but I do sometimes enjoy playing with toddlers and do not dislike children.

Holding each one of our two children when they were born was like holding a little bundle of innocence.

Yes, I held my niece several hours after she was born. Newborns have really nice smelling heads for some reason. I've already babysat my niece, so I've dealt with crying and having to walk around with her in my arms in an attempt to get her to calm down. This was after finding out she wasn't hungry, and her diaper was dry.

I've held many little cousins before, I have more than 35 younger ones. I rather like infants, but I hate toddlers. They scream and throw tantrums. Newborns are the best because they love to be swaddled and held even when asleep.

I don't mind toddlers. I don't mind playing with them... but I don't kiss or cuddle them.

As for babies... I like them alright. I'd hold/cuddle them vs a toddler, but I just ain't into the touchy feeling shi.. crap.

Even though my nieces and nephews are very overstimulating to me and get on my nerves a lot, I actually find them quite cute when they're being well-behaved and I love to hug and kiss them.

I love babies and toddlers. When I am taking care of them, things come naturally. I know why they are crying, and i can understand a toddlers babble. It's so strange though, that I can't understand other people, or know how to react to them, but with a young child it just happens. I am just more comfortable with them.

since i'm a very clingy person (with family and extremely close friends, not just random people), i really love babies and compliant toddlers, cause i can hug and love on them all i want. they're so cute!! i love children in general that are clingy with me... i'm more awkward around kids that don't like to be touched... because they're more like older kids or adults.. where it's weird if i'm clingy with them. but, in general, i can understand toddlers more than adults... like, dealing with them comes more naturally (maybe cause they're more honest, and have more extreme body language that's easier to read?). they aren't as threatening as older people.

...or something like that. :D

I only like my own kids....other peoples children are just as foreign to me as the parents. I would be uncomfortable holding someone elses baby....unless maybe it was on of my kids babies. Even my brothers kids I feel wierd around. I was and am very attached and snuggly with my own babies.

I love the way that babies smell when you kiss their little heads. Something about Johnson's Baby Lotion just makes everything good.

I have my own kids, so I have learned to do that obviously. But I have to admit hugging and kissing my kids now (they are 6 and 4) to me is much easier than it was when they were infants.

I wouldn't dare hold a baby because of my Tourette syndrome... one tic and whoosh! Also I am convinced that babies are all germy and gross even though in reality they are probably a hell of a lot cleaner than me! That is OCD for you!

(my nephew threw up on his uncle's Liverpool Utd shirt... eww)
