The frontal lobe controls pretty much all the functions which are affected by AS.


I'm not sure how accurate it is (seeing as the temporal lobes control mostly physical functions such as speech and hearing)but I recall reading that Temporal Lobe Epilepsy can also produce symptoms that mimic some aspects of autism/AS - which would give even more weight to a lobe-damage theory.
