I'm reviving this thread because I was curious to see how NTs would perform on this test, as well. Scoots, I hope you don't mind, but I copied your post and posted it on another forum (I tried my livejournal and got practically no response). Anyway, here were their answers:

Is thinking really hard an emotion?
Quote:
there's gotta be a plethora of emotions running through that kid, there's excitement because he's on television, adrenalin's pumping because he knows he's about to do something physically demanding, and nervousness because he's about to do something physically demanding on television. but mostly the impression i get from him is: he's confused.

I'd say whatever the pre-teen version of WTF is.
Quote:
Pic one: Apprehension
Pic two: Terror and embarassment at having just soiled his pants.
Pic three. More terror. The desire to run.

Pic #1: Apprehension
Pic #2: Shock-horror
Pic #3: Insecurity.

The poor kid looks scared, then really scared and looks like he's about to faint in the last one. Haha! It must have been a seriously nerve wrecking experience. I have never heard of the show though.
Quote:
1: "ow help"
2: "was that my name"
3: astonisched
but in fact over the whole thre he looks kind of scared for something but also a little like "ooowww, something is happening"
Quote:
1. Nervous wreck: "Oh no, don't talk to me, I don't know what I'm supposed to say without making a fool of myself!"
2. Panic: "See, I TOLD you I would make a fool of myself! Now they're making a close-up... my friends are watching this, I KNOW it!"
3. Attention: "Okay, keep talking, but please don't ask something of me that makes me prove I'm not good at PE..."
It seems most of them also thought it was fear/anxiety. A few guessed "astonished" which would sort of be correct. Overall, it does not seem like the NTs who responded did any better than the aspies that responded here. In fact, I think there is a higher percentage of correct or nearly correct responses on this forum.
