My parents couldn't help me financially and I had to take out student loans for both undergrad and grad schools. It took me until I was 40 to pay the loans off, but they are paid off and no one can take my education away from me.

Timeisdead you need to "live" your own life. You need "stop" listening to the negative family members, and do what you think is right. It sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders. You need to seek people who can give even advice to you.

I'm sorry, but maybe it's due to me being 18 and a college freshman, but those things are TRICKY and I wouldn't easily sign one of those..when I did a few weeks ago I read the whole damn thing, I'm afraid around that type of thing...also why I think I won't use credit cards in the future, there are other methods..

I'm not trying to w*k or brag or anything,...but I'm glad I'm an only child...well I've ALWAYS been glad, f**k that social 'sharing', bickering, etc. BS. International Relations is better in that people (well, governments and nations) are more logical at least :P

Weee I had to deal with half-siblings when younger once a week and that's not a problem now.....
