People do not "change". They simply become more of what they already are.

Some people are happy with no friends. I am happy without any but I have online friends.

No, actually it isn't what you are if you stay yourself. If you want friends, you can have them and still be yourself. If you have to fake to attract friends, then you will have friends who will dump you the second they find out who you really are, and those are not real friends.

from your own words i would have to interject here that your method doesn't seem to be working particularly well in terms of making you happy, so you might rethink suggesting it to others. is that really easier and better than just accepting and loving who you are inside? doesn't sound like it from here, but you tell me.....

There is no such thing as "who you really are". You are what you think, what you do, what you are trying to be. Every single moment. The claim like "like me as I am because everyone will like me if I get better" is selfish. I do not think that there is something wrong about a person's trying to be better. But I do hate selfish people who expect others love them just because they are so unique. If you stay "who you are" then the level of development will remain at the level of an infant. If all the people stayed at the level of "who they are" they would have remained at the level of monkeys.
