Miles Prower aka Tails, from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Obviously, haha.

Why? Well, let's see...

- lifelong love of aircraft, particularly bi-planes and retro/old-school aviation (I have flown a Tiger Moth, but my favorite is the Polikarpov 'Chaika', which Tails' first plane, the Tornado, was based on)
- computer/tech geek
- introverted personality, yet can be bossy/stubborn at times
- tending to have one close best friend
- terrified of thunderstorms
- love mint candy
- pedantic/Captain Obvious traits
- favorite color is blue (Sonic is blue, ahahaha)
- adore Sonic
- intellectually intelligent yet naive and somewhat clumsy/klutzy
- wanting to become more independent
- don't know when to shut up about special interests

Haha, I could go on.

I also identify with James from Pokémon (and, like him, I collect bottlecaps), Jim Mack from the novel 'At Swim, Two Boys', and Dick Grayson/Robin from early Batman. But none as much so as Tails.

I actually started a thread about this, awhile back. But I´ll mention it again, for those who didn´t read it. I discovered, in young adulthood, that I related a lot to Vincent Van Gogh. At the time, I knew nothing about, nor had ever heard of Asperger´s Syndrome. As a young adult, struggling to "find myself", I noticed that Vincent and I had many personality traits in common, as well as similar life challenges; (and we´re both involved in the arts). It is now recognized that Vincent was likely on the spectrum, probably AS. He was my special interest for a time, and it was then that I began to accept many aspects of myself which I had repressed before. My interest in him enabled me to actually like myself better.

Oh, someone mentioned Butters from South Park. I also really like that character. I think when I was a child, I was the female version of Butters.

i have got to say - i LOVE WP - for this kind of chat and exchange.
I am sitting in my pj's reading the posts of other girls who like this kind of thing.....and yeah morgana, van gogh is just beautiful. even his meltdowns were bloody great....(no pun intended.) :D

Oh, great to hear you like Van Gogh too! Have you ever read his letters to Theo? He was a pretty interesting personality. I almost forgot...Vincent and I also have the same birthday. :D

In real life, Joan of Arc.

In fiction, I tend to go for the red heads: Rachel and Rahne in the X-men, also Magneto (comic book version - the movie version is marvelously swishy but nothing like me); I liked Starfire in Teen Titans as well. I expect, though, I'm more like the Scarlett Witch than the redheads (based on the little I know about her).

Also, Holly Short in Artemis Fowl.

Camille Claudel, I guess. The lover of Rodin the French sculptor. She lived for what she believed in and was honest rather than manipulate her way to what she wanted.

I identify with the writings of Ralph Waldo Emerson, Thoreau, and some aspects of the life of Jesus and Van Gogh.

Elijah Baley from "Caves of Steel" by Isaac Asimov.

A man who must work with people he despises to solve problems.

Ishmael from Moby Dick. Not attached to nothing, just checking things out, forming his own interpretations, regardless of what society says.

Things got a little dull, so he went looking for some adventure. Ended up getting trapped in the adventure.

I'd be giving myself too much credit to say I'm like him, but Carl Gustav Von Rosen might be the coolest individual that ever lived.

I don't really "identify with" others in this sort of way.
