There's nothing wrong with meerkats they're fascinating little animals.

I don't know about putting a meerkat enclosure in the new children's hospital in Melbourne though I don't think its fair on the Meerkats with all the hospital noise.

All the meerkats at the San Diego Wild Animal Park have become so complacent due to lack of predators that they don't even stand up anymore!! ! Even when I made various animal noises from caws to roars to hisses.

I love meerkats, they're freaking gorgeous.

In short : you were into meerkats, before meerkats were cool.
So you are actually one up on all your friends (like the rockfan who "was into the Esoterics before they sold out and everyone discovered them."

They are fascinating animals.

Meerkats are oddly humanlike.

They even stand erect.

They have complex social lives.

I found the show too heart-rending to stay with.

I loved watching Meerkat Manor on Animal Planet. After Flower died, it wasn't the same. The show lost it's magic.
