I never do anything on NYE, so it doesn't bother me. If I want to watch the ball drop, I will. If not, then no sweat. The only NYE tradition I have is eating cabbage for luck.

I usually do not do anything New Years Eve, except staying up late (which I usually do anyway). I'm going to hope my parents have people over (so I'll either have outside or the house to myself-- won't be noisy).

I usually spend New Year's Eve just watching the countdown on TV with my mum, clinking champagne glasses, and then going to bed.

This year, I'll be spending it with my girlfriend, which will be nice. We'll probably dress up as Batman and Robin and run around my neighborhood just for laughs. *Shrug*

That sounds so cute Tails.

Every NYE I seem to be watching the fireworks. I was reminded of this because on the news they said that Sydney Harbor will have about 5kg of fireworks.
So, maybe I'll go somewhere to watch the fireworks. On TV or sit outside and try to keep the dog calm.
If I were to go out I wouldn't get to see the fireworks at all.
That's what NYE is to me. Not about getting drunk and spending time with people but watching the fireworks.
My NY resolution will be to buy a lens that can take a professional photo of fireworks. Every year I plan to get a better lens but when the day comes I'm stuck with the same crappy lenses.

New Year's Eve

Oh okay, never seen it abbreviated like that before.

Dunno what I'll be doing this year...last year we went to my GF's aunt's house to watch Dick Clark. As long as I'm in good health I'll be happy...somehow ever since I can remember, I've had a really bad habit of getting sick somewhere between Christmas and New Year's :x
