I was ticklish as a kid, still am, and hate it with a passion.

still am, I hate it.

In some circles, excessive tickling is a form of BDSM...but it's a strange world to begin with.

I have an odd ticklish spot :the knees.
I was very ticklish as a child and I still am.

But one of my boyfriends was so ticklish I would just touch his arm and he would squirm away and say 'that tickles'. It wasn't just there, it was basically everywhere but his hand.

That's my ticklish spot. I hate it cos people will squeeze my knees and I try to squirm away, but it's so hard. I hate it.

Yes, I am very ticklish, that hasn't changed.. my son is the same way. He giggles uncontrollably whenever his socks are being put on. Once he can do it himself (which is soon I hope) he will be able to control that.

As a little kid, I was extremely ticklish.

Now I'm not at all, whatsoever - I almost feel robbed.

I would love to not be ticklish, you're so lucky.

I am extremely ticklish. I enjoyed it when I was a child, but it borders on hurting now.

Am extremely ticklish. If someone tries to tickle me I panic and try to defend myself.

I was, and still am, ticklish. I had a habit of covering up (with my hands and arms) the places where I was too ticklish, so people couldn´t touch me. This was a problem sometimes at the doctor´s office....(and as an adult, sometimes a problem in bed...)

Was it easy for people to torment you with uncontrollable laughter from tickling you?

Now you've just reminded me of a whole set of childhood memories that I had not thought about in years and years.

No one tormented me with uncontrollable laughter. But if anyone at all touched me for any reason (Mother giving a comforting hug, Doctor using stethoscope to listen to my breathing, even a friendly pat on the back by a sporting teammate) I recoiled with a physical aversion that compares to having my body covered in spiders (skin crawling, etc.).

I never understood why I was so sensitive to touch. Of course, I never understood Asperger's until very recently. It all makes sense now.

Thank you for helping me to integrate yet another piece in this complex and bizarre puzzle.
