Some of my favorite things to do are watch Disney movies, sing Disney/Barney songs and play board games and puzzles!
I love stuffed animals and toys and cartoons too.

I like all that stuff except I can't stand Barney. :x

I can't stand Barney much, good for the kids, but the whole show seems very fake. I do quite like Digimon, which was also a good show for teaching kids important concepts, although not for the barney age group. I recently enjoyed watching the digimon movie with my 5 yold brother, he is really into stuff ment for kids above his age group.

When I am feeling depressed, anxious or whatever, I find that I calm down if I listen to young people singing, as long as they are singing something happy. Among the groups I like would be the Yeshiva Boys Choir, the Shira Chadasha Boys Choir, Shalsheles Junior, the Vienna Boys Choir, etc.

Maybe it is the fact that they are sounding happy, when I was miserable at that age. Maybe I'm just tied into my youthful "self", my inner child, through music. I don't know.

I realate to peolle much younger that I am. I am 34, but really enjoy playing with my sons, 8 and 3, at play places, where parents usually just sit around. I think I am influencing the parents in my autism support group for parents. We go once a month to a inflatable play place that has multiple inflaatable slides, bounc houses, etc. This last time, I actually saw several parents, that usually do not play at these places wiht thier kids, up and following them (they were at least trying out the fun). I, on the other hand, was playing with my kids. People that didn't know me would assume that I was about 12(I also look MUCH younger than my 34 years.) I had soooo much fun and so did my sons. I think that i am better able to understand my son, so we realte much better.

Okay I am obsessed with lions and I admit I sleep with stuffed animals, of course one being a lion. But in other ways I am also quite mature and understand a lot more things than many of my "NT" peers do. I definitely need a balance.. but on the other hand, do I? I am who I am.

I'm going to be an aunt in about 10 weeks and the thing I'm looking forward to most about it being able to play with kids toys again and not look like a doofus since I'm playing with him

I don't think there's anything wrong with enjoying child things as long as you still take care of adult responsibilities, personally. And you don't do anything creepy.

I'm well aware that I am emotionally on par with the early teenage years. I relate extremely well to children of all ages. I do, however, have a sense of discipline and duty commensurate with my chronological age, allowing me to function quite well in business.

Here's an interesting story: I often want to play with my 5 yold brother at his level, but often he wants to play with me, doing things 18 yolds would normally do. I have no interest in most things an 18 yold would do apart from techy stuff. So while I am trying to play at his level, he wants to go play his new video game and get my help because he is not mentally developed enough to suceed at the game yet.

Note the terms are 'like' a child. I suppose in many ways I'm 'like' a smaller child. I still sleep with stuffed animals. I get a childlike rush seeing happy-looking cute things, and get sad when somebody destroys them. Like a person above said, there's nothing really 'wrong' with being mostly a child still, but I hate it when people use those things as labels for something wrong with somebody. WTF is a 'typical' child and where can I find him or her? Jeez.

I feel connected to my inner child the most when going to bed or while daydreaming.

I want to forge a fake birth certificate so I could do high school things again, and be eligible for more things.

Man, someone here gets mistaken for a 12-16 year-old; well, I WANT TO get mistaken for a 12-16 year-old! I wonder if I can find any good, low-priced anti-aging products.

I've been meaning to get an electrolyzing permanent-hair-removal device because I think I have no reason to have facial hair, nor hair in certain other parts of my body either.

I fantasize being a kid a lot; I even have some novels planned over 2nd and prolonged childhoods.

Here's a conversation I recently had with my brother:

Brother: Everybody has an inner child.
Me: Do you think I still have mine?
Brother: You are a child!

lol.
