Education- Mandatory, free with many forums available for getting it and choices on what to learn

Work -mandatory, no one is completely incapable of all forms of work even if its work they don't want to do, they can and must contribute to the world in some way

Society-intelligence, hardwork and helping others makes you cool, there is no booze or drugs

Culture - one culture for the entire world, one set of social rules, one language, enough diversity to make it interesting but not so much that we can't understand each other

Government - very localized, no big governments, voting for choices, not candidates. taxes are collected but each person decides what it goes towards

Social Services - not needed, everyone can work

Religion - none, everyone has faith in science

War - no religious or extreme societal differences therefore there is no war

Environment - we are a part of it not damaging it, everyone appreciates it and protects it, we would have a more natural role, everyone would make the time and effort to get out and appreciate it, lots of preserved, open places

Crime - extremely long sentences for all crimes, criminals have to run on treadmills to create energy for the world, it is sold to pay for the jails and pay the salaries of judges, law enforcement officers, DAs etc., much less crime due to the lack of drugs and alcohol, violence and sex crimes aren't possible

Marriage -no divorce, everyone is committed for life and has access to resources to make their marriage functional

Dating - 3 relationships to determine what you like and then magically you meet the person you're supposed to be with. the prior relationships help you appreciate your spouse

Friends - same as now but everyone is really good at learning from mistakes e.g. if someone treats you wrong you realize it quickly and get away from them and this person learns they lost a friend because of it

Race Relations - no races. lots of different looks but we don't define it as races or separate groups

Weather - for most of the world seasons like in the upper midwest now but temperatures stay between 30 and 80 degrees always. transitions are gradual and appropriate for the season, no cold summer days or snowmelts before spring. still lots of diversity so we can visit other environments and have lots of animal and plant diversity

Recreation - everyone can afford to participate in whatever interest they currently have

Fashion - much more creativity and not so restrictive. e.g. if i want to wear a ballgown or a flannel jumpsuit to work or a drab uniform every day I can and no one will have a problem with it

Technology - makes our lives better but doesn't replace physically activity or human to human relationships, very user friendly and accessible to more people

Food - ecologically sustainable

Entertainment - does not encourage ignorance, no paris hilton or johnny knoxville, even the most crass entertainment would teach you something

Money - you get as much as you work for and want, not as addictive as it currently is, doesn't have power attached to it as it does now

Occupation - more freedom to explore different jobs, not as competitive so you don't have to spend 20 years in one place to get ahead. on average people would get new careers every 5 years if they choose to.

Wages - based on your intelligence, effort, goodwill, usefulness and attitude, not personality, everyone is much more concerned about recognition and helping their coworkers than their salary

cities-no ginormous buildings, natural and safe materials only. all the bars would be replaced with bookstores and learning centers with lectures, tutoring, intelligent open discussions, workshops, fun classes, book and poetry readings, documentary viewings and math and science competitions. some kind of uber safe, quick, easy transportation system. no urban sprawl. all cities are small.

Appearances-all the boys would be big and squishy with facial hair, people would be much, much less concerned with their appearance

Families-people are required to prove they can care for a child physically, mentally and financially before they are allowed to reproduce. much more freedom in relationships. if someone is straight but wants to commit to a same sex partner to make a life with, it is normal (like a permanent roommate) ages wouldn't matter so much in friend and dating relationships. you are just as normal if you don't want to have kids as if you do

Homes-normal to keep the doors open and congregate out front similar to dorm hallways, beds would be closed pods with weighted blankets, function over appearance, it would be normal for kitchens to look similar to industrial kitchens

Nobody I know personally would fit willingly into this view of a perfect world because I know
individuals, ....like you.
That is why I am fascinated by your view.

A planet of egoist, but rational handling, people would the best.

It is my old conviction that the most problems do not raise because people are egoistic, but irrational. Such a planet would not know wars ("Why I should risk my live for xyz?"), would know social cooperation ("I need a functioning society for survival, so I support the institution of society.") and would have reasonable structure for conflict solving and administrating the common good, because it is in the egoistic interest of every single person.

Couldn't an self centered socitey also be called anarchy.

Although to each their own seems rational, (I like that comment) what happens when paths collide and their is no acceptable middle point between the differing rationalities. Then would irrationality not re ignite. Naturally everything still seems to fall into place as it is.

Not really, because at least the majority has big interest in upholding a certain order to provide services and security for everyone.

In this case the other would involve, because they have no interest in an escalating conflict.

A place where people took care of their pets and took care of their other responsiblities as well. I have noticed that people who neglect their animals will neglect their children, too and their responsibilities to themselves as well.

A place where pets will have a safe refuge, whether feral or abandoned house pet. In my neighborhood, that turns out to be our family's house.

A place where you can trust pet food.

I have heard something about meat meal (Uthanised animals with collar and tags) are added to some pet food.

Avery pet my family has lived with has died under fifteen years old

They died in pain, I think malnutrition in pet food caused the cancers, diabetes, and other pain.

Pet food is not governed by the same laws as Our Food
...........Banned pesticides
............Meat Meal
............Melamine Thickeners (It happened)
......................who knows what is in Pet food,.......I'm not going to eat it any more..........

I don't really eat pet food (...Wait... Unless Puritan Stew is for pets)

A society where we are free to be who we are, without suffering any negative consequences for it. In particular, opportunity should be distributed solely on merit. Nepotism and dishonesty should not feature in any decision taken.
