that looks like a good alternative, i'll have to try it out next weekend during christmas break. i'll probably be playing a lot of chess so if anyone wants a game let me know what your username is. mine is usually fgdfdfdf on one of the intermediate boards.

I don't know what's going on. Yahoo games apps won't load.
I've followed the instructions in the FAQ on yahoo but no go.
I'll keep searching for something.
I *still* want to play chess!

had to download java runtime, couldn't get it downloaded from the sun site though, had to do some searching to find it elsewhere. but I can now play chess on yahoo.
anyone??
