DAVE ANGEL? Another scam for those of us on the spectrum!?

Dave Angel has been discussing aspergers and promoting the community for a while - at least a year that I'm aware of.

His posts aren't always spot on and he spends way too much time promoting his books but he has done a few good posts. I don't think he is an aspie because his posts have a "third-person" quality to them. He is however giving the parents of aspies generally useful advice and I haven't noticed him promoting outlandish remedies (unlike some people I could mention).

That said, although his selling methods are a bit heavy handed, I'm not sure that you should write him off so quickly.

Thanks for your comments. I think I will reserve judgement for a minute, my nose is smelling something fishy but I am not sure it is a bad enough smell quite yet to alert my other senses!! Although I will store it in the filing cabinet marked pending in my brain!
