Never know how to measure this correctly...

The way I do it now, it ends up to 1 on both hands. That's good or bad?

Actually, many claims revolving around this claim it doesn't really mean anything for females anyway.

I'm not sure what my digit ratio is, but my ring finger is significantly longer than my index on both hands (my index finger comes to just above the last joint on my ring finger).

It can't possibly be measured, since creases from skin folds don't occur in a single, straight line. When you bend your finger at the first knuckle, the skin bunches up in an irregular pattern, thus there's no controlled spot to measure from.

I think 1 means that you have what is expected to be the average female ratio.

In this case, of 1 being the result, I would agree with this statement - that it has no significance, as 1 would be what they consider to be the average ratio for females. But when I consider the index finger being shorter in females then it has more significance than when it is shorter in males because it is supposed to be shorter in males but longer in females. And then I can jut confuse myself by thinking about it too much before deciding it all probably means nothing in particular

regardless on if it has any meaning, it was quite an interesting discovery to find that i had asymmetry with my hands like that. all my fingers on my left hand are about the same size as those on my right, except for my dominant right hand's ring finger, which is significantly longer than my index finger.
