Like those teeth guards athletes often use? Or are they thinner?

They're alot thinner and nowhere near as bulky. It's just like wrapping your teeth in plastic wrap I guess, because it's just a casing that fits over them.

I never grind my teeth and rarely sigh as just a stim (but often as a sign of emotion), if that helps.........

I grind my teeth constantly and consider it a stim. If im in a crowded store i push my teeth together to flex my jaw constantly.

And now I wonder what a "stim" is, would that be short for "stimulant" or "stimulus" or is it something else?

Self-stimulation, I think.

I grind my teeth but my dentist said all migrainuers do, so I don't know if this is a symptom of Aspergers or migraine, predominantly.

I also crack nearly all my joints (neck, shoulders, spine (lower back) knee caps, ankles, wrists, fingers, left big toe and foot (not right)).

I also have sort of cramps in my calves at night, relieved by pointing my toes downwards as far as possible, which causes a kind of discharge of energy at which the toes curl back up! (Don Juan in Carlos Castenadas books says this is where we store the energy of travel).

WOOOHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHHA - I AM BACK!! !! !! !! !!

Yes - I grind my teeth all the time in my sleep. I never knew about this of course. If I have a drink then it is more frequent and much louder.

I find I twitch a lot, especially in bed - sometimes it's so violent I jerk myself awake. I also have sensitive skin, which means I seem to be scratching the soles of my feet and the palms of my hands as well as rubbing my fingers, nearly all the time (my partner hits me, if she catches me doing it). I can feel dirt on my skin and if a bit of grit hits me in the eye, I jump in the same way others do when a door slams. I have terrible digestion problems (white bread/ digestives principally). My eyeballs are sometimes like marbles because of internal pressure. I shuffle about indoors but shoot about at a rapid pace outdoors, leaving people behind. I seem to exasperate other people and overwhelm them with my communication - too much in too short a burst or nothing at all. I find I write incessant observations on everything plus long shopping lists and act like a magpie, picking things off the street and storing them in containers at home or posting them off to very bored friends.

Is this normal for Aspergers or am I on The Wrong Planet as usual and if so, when is the next train out?
