Does anyone else buy lots of the same things and store it? Almost like hoarding?

I have a cupboard full of shampoo and washing liquid, softner etc... I buy it when it is on special offer to save money then arrange it all neatly in rows into a cupboard. My partner finds it amusing and sometimes takes a peek into the cupboard. We never run out of anything which is a good thing mind

Interesting. My mother is the same way. She will buy and store the cleaners and then in a fit of neatness give them to me. I knew there was something to that behavior, but never saw it as hording. Seems both my parents are as my mother would be moderate and my dad above moderate. He can't throw anything out or easily give things away. Drives us all nuts. Even my mother

I have a boxroom full of electronic and electrical bits.

I have four wardrobes full of, actually, rather gorgeous, clothes, most of which I have never worn, and never will wear.

I buy toiletries in bulk, but usually manage on one spare bottle each of cleaning fluids.

I have enough cosmetics to keep an entire yoshiwara painted for a dynasty (and some are so old they must be collector's items).

But no...I don't hoard...

Honest...

I have this thing about buying lots of socks. Also if I find a sneaker or hiking shoe I like I will often buy duplicates of it so if one pair wears out I have backups. A physical therapist told me I have a foot fetish because of this. But I'm not attracted to feet, especially not other peoples which I think is what a foot fetish is about. I think I'm just a hoarder of sorts.

I also have about 5 tubes of toothpaste on the bathroom counter and maybe 7 bottles of shampoo in the shower. That's more a matter of I get bored with one flavor or scent so I have to alternate so I'm not sure that is hoarding.
