But I know there were times my wife would go off when I would start pacing like a caged lion - which was often.
But to the original questioner - yes, I do this. Especially when I am trying to synthesize information, figure out a certain way to write something, etc. The actual style of pacing depends largely on what room I'm in. I also tend to go back and forth while calm, and circular when agitated by something.
