I have some concerns. It seems to me you are implying past tests have given you issues. And what are the special absences you need that others don't need?

You are sharing your unhappy emotions, and you keep blaming sleep, but I am reading hints of more to the story you aren't sharing.

As several have noted, the military is brutal about conforming. If you don't conform, even with AS - it is just a matter of time. Are you seriously thinking of what you want to do if you choose to leave the military? what happens if you retake the test and do the same or worse?

I think you should have your plan worked out if you do the same or worse on a retake. You need to start thinking ahead and stop reacting. I think that's where your fear of retaking the test should be focused.

Also, what if you retake it, and do better, but people still treat you the way they do? The military does NOT teach open mindedness, it teaches conformity and obedience.

Look i am not american
i scored somewhere between 80-85 in the iq test no way more low
i would have easily scored 100 if i was rested but unfortunately i am not prophet isaiah so i could not predict that they would take me to psychiatry to take an IQ test
my life got a turn of 360 for the worse
i mean for 18 or so years my life was way more different and now everybody is treating me like s**t

Your response seems like you are here to complain, not fix it.

Ok, so the solution is that we need to help you compose a letter. I don't pretend to be an expert, so we need to look around WP for some military people who know how things work.

I disagree, the ASVAB scores are already in his records. What Chief needs to do is take this matter throught the Chain of Command first by talking to his Sergeant and then on up to the XO or CO if needed. Basically a short, sweet explanation following the KISS principle would probably work best, that is if the test was Unit wide which is not something I recall happening in my 4 years active. Chief was this test specifically something you had to do or was it given to all of your Command below a certain rank?
I'm not asking to be rude but the USN had my ASVAB scores and scores from my various schools and Navywide exam so the idea of an IQ test never ocurred to anyone in my Command. If you can get retested and do better you might want to consider a chit requesting a different Command, that can be difficult in Wartime I know.

God almight, I feel your pain. I wish I could 'sell' you to them.

1. Do you have test anxiety? If you have that, you cannot make that go away in the snap of a finger. If not then you can retake the test and you'll have to convince them to allow you to.

2. Are you smart? Do you have any genius? What are you going for? ----Could you be anything valuable to the military such as an IT wizz kid? If you have test anxiety then you need to show your sargeant that you are a whiz kid and explain that the military needs you. Sell yourself.
