What's the AAA?

Adult Asperger Assessment

http://www.autismresearchcentre.com/tests/aaa_test.asp

Its basically an alternative to DSM IV and ICD which are the other diagnostic tools to see if someone meets the criteria for a diagnosis of and ASD

B (max = 5) Obsessions 3 4
C (max = 5) Communication 3 3

Total ( max = 18 ) 10 12

E - I (max = 5) Prerequisites 5 5

Thanks folks....I'll have a go at that in a bit 8)

I should pay more attention to Danielsmyname......if not the world in general. I seem to be missing a lot of details like that recently. :(

I was curious so I also gave it a try...

A (max = 5) Social - 5
B (max = 5) Obsessions - 4
C (max = 5) Communication - 4
D (max = 3) Imagination - 2
Total ( max = 18 ) total of 15 of 18

E - I (max = 5) Prerequisites -3

G. There is no clinically significant general delay in language (e.g. single words used by age 2 years, communicative phrases used by age 3 years)

I did not start talking until I was ~ 4 1/2.. So that disqualifies me from the self Aspie diagnosis according to this worksheet....

I still have communication difficulty and have been professionally diagnosed as Autistic... rather than Aspargers - mainly because of my speech delay and continued difficulty with communication with language and speech....

I had lot of writing, 3 years worth that helped me to communicate better with written words... I still have difficulty with spoken words but writing has gotten easier...

Yeah that would be right. The no language delay thing discounted me from Asperger's which is why my diagnosis is HFA. It would have been the same for you.

No result here - the macro wouldn't run unless I lowered my high security settings - therefore no deal. Couldn't even open the page without giving out an email address and a name (and organisation :? ).

I'm sure the test is an interesting one, but its stewards expect too much trust for me to comfortably participate. It's hard to see why they've set it up to discriminate against Machiavellian people such as myself.

Maybe I'll try running the download offline later - that'd be safer.

Congratulations. :)

I have to say, I wish I had access to something like CLASS but unfortunately it does appear that such organizations exist in many places.
