Pain is pain. If your hand gets cut off are you saying that it hurts more then the a NT?

As a bloke I can't say that some women have more painful periods then others or they are all the same. I can tell you though that neither can they.

My research indicates feeling pain at different levels is not an Aspie trait.

What is however is true sensitivity to Light and Sound.

I know for me, certain wave lengths for noise will cause me to loose vision - nothign overly loud... just certain abrupt noise.

Neon lights (office lights) cause me to get migranes and driving at night is a nightmare for me with on coming vehicles it physically hurts my eyes and causes headaches

And what's that - a dig at my physical appearance. I don't look like a woman? I couldn't give a sh**.

If your display pic is a picture of you, I'd say you definately look like a woman. Actually, you look very similar to my therepist.

BOT - My sense of pain is just plain weird. Some types of touch register as pain, yet other things (such as a severely ingrown toenail), I don't feel at all. Once, I broke the bone behind my eye, had a black eye that looked like I had a golfball under my eyelid, and I just had a minor headache. Someone brushes my arm the wrong way, or pokes me, and my arm just hurts like crazy. I stub my toe, and it feels like I should just take off the whole end of my foot. Anathetics to take care of my ingrown toenails don't work consistently, either. I've undergone having an ingrown toenail removed without effective anasthetic because they loaded my toe with so much anasthetic, and another part of the toe was completely numb, so they started the procedure. They tried stopping in the middle, but the pain was still there, I told them to just hurry up and get it over with.
